The Veterans Guild Foundation - 501c3

The Veterans Guild Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the Veterans Guild of America, dedicated to empowering veterans, first responders, and civilians through education, training, and creative opportunity in film and media.

While the VGA handles active film production, the VGF focuses on building the bridge — funding programs, workshops, and development opportunities that prepare members for success both on and off set. Together, they form a complete ecosystem that connects purpose, skill, and industry access.

To create pathways for veterans and first responders to build meaningful careers in film and media — transforming service, discipline, and teamwork into powerful tools for creative storytelling and professional growth.

Education & Training: Provide hands-on workshops, masterclasses, and mentorships across every department of film production.
 

Development Funding: Support veteran-led scripts, short films, and proof-of-concept projects that have the potential to grow into full productions.

Outreach & Inclusion: Partner with communities, schools, and organizations to bring awareness, opportunity, and representation to veterans in the arts.
 

Career Support: Offer guidance and placement through the VGA Guild Portal, ensuring members can transition from learning to working.
 

The Foundation is supported through donations, sponsorships, and co-production revenue from VGA projects. Every contribution directly supports education, training, and development initiatives — ensuring that your support creates real, measurable impact.

The Veterans Guild Development Fund is the cornerstone of the Foundation’s mission — a dedicated resource that fuels the creation of original, veteran-led film and television projects. Through donations, grants, and co-production partnerships, the Fund provides first-in development financing to help bring new stories to life while employing and training Guild members in the process. Each project supported by the Fund becomes both a professional production and a learning environment — giving veterans hands-on experience, screen credits, and a pathway into long-term careers in film.
